Grace Winterton Photographs
Photographs recently donated to the Cliff House by Mrs.
Grace Winterton, who found them in her family collection.
She notes: "On the back of the folder, in my father's printing was the date
1872." She believes the photos were acquired by her grandfather,
Phil Herrier, a Civil War veteran who drove a stagecoach between the Cliff House
and downtown San Francisco for several years.
